The Albanian not only lost his job but also his savings in this case.

A 22-year-old Albanian who worked in one of the burnt hotels in Rhodes has fallen prey to a scam.

The Greek media write that some fraudsters have called him and introduced themselves as the accountant of the hotel where he worked before the fire, and have asked him for an emergency assistance of 250 euros.

Thus, he did not suspect that he was dealing with a fraudster, again the "accountant" asked him to transfer the amount of 540 euros, in order to return it together with the compensation, then he said that he deposited the money and got nothing in return.

The 22-year-old has reported the fraud to Insurance, which is investigating to identify the perpetrator.
