An alarm about rockets launched by Hamas, but destroyed by "Iron Dome", sounded at the Tel Aviv airport shortly before the departure of the plane with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on board.
The head of the Bundestag was forced to abandon the plane and be quickly evacuated by the Israeli authorities after the alarm, while in the photos posted on the platform X, members of his staff are seen lying on the runway.
As Welt reports, part of the delegation that accompanied Scholz were also journalists, who were also forced to lie down on the track.
So, it is reported that two Hamas rockets aimed at the airport were neutralized on the runway by Israel's defense system.

According to the German newspaper, the chancellor ran to a nearby container and from there to the shelter, while after a few minutes, the passengers managed to board the plane again.
