Billionaire Elon Musk has attacked the US agency USAID, which he says is a criminal organization.
On the social network "X", Musk commented on a user's post regarding the alleged obstruction of the DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) agency in the process of reviewing the operations of the American agency USAID by USAID employees.
He stated in his comment that "USAID is a criminal organization" and added that "it is time for it to die."

Time for it tomorrow. https://t.co/sWYy6fyt1k
Musk's series of tweets about USAID included a comment that "USAID was a snake pit of radical leftist Marxists who hate America," in response to a user's post that multiple intelligence agency employees had confirmed that "if you saw even 10 percent of what I saw. ... regarding USAID's activities, you would be amazed at such bad behavior and incompetence coupled with an absolute acceptance of why the Agency, and especially the State Department, have so much financial interest."

Also, the comment that “USAID is a criminal organization” was repeated by Musk in a post that was a comment on a post by the same user, Mike Benz, who in his tweet stated that he had “given 50 hours of private live lectures to his “X” subscribers for USAID.” -and his high-profile role in internet censorship, the creation of political control structures over society, and his key role in the CIA’s covert work. When I get home this week, I will put these broadcasts on my main timeline.”
In another post, Musk writes that "USAID has paid media organizations to publish their propaganda."
He continued his attacks on USAID, saying it funded research into biological weapons.
"Did you know that USAID, using YOUR tax dollars, funded research into biological weapons, including COVID-19, which killed millions of people?" Musk wrote.

Elon Musk's comments about State Department-funded agencies didn't end with USAID, as he also mentioned the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) in his tweets, which is known for funding democracy development projects around the world.
Musk wrote in one of his tweets that "NED is a scam," which was in response to a post by one of the users, who wrote "20 examples of corruption involving NED, based on available information."
Senior USAID officials have been suspended from duty after they physically attempted to stop DOGE (Elon Musk's team) from accessing the Agency's systems.
Two USAID officials, John Voorhees and his deputy, were suspended late Saturday night after they refused to allow DOGE members access to USAID systems. DOGE members threatened to call the police after being denied access. They were trying to access security and personnel files.
Federal officials are concerned that Trump is trying to incorporate USAID within the U.S. State Department as part of an effort to combat government corruption and bloat.
USAID has about 10,000 employees, not including contractors, with two-thirds of them working abroad. 60 USAID staff members were already suspended last week after trying to circumvent President Trump's executive order halting foreign aid.
