Socialist Party MP Iris Luarasi says she has been threatened with the lives of her children. According to her, these threats come only because she supported the Gender Equality Bill.

"We have been part of public and political debates. In a way, it seems like we have become accustomed to the culture of swearing and insults. But this time it has been like never before because I have received death threats, for beheading children.

"Of course I have reported them. Tell me who is against the family? For what reason would Iris Luarasi not respect the family. I am a mother and I would not like to be called parent 1 and 2," she said.
