Attempt to constitute the Kosovo Assembly fails for the 38th time

The 38th attempt to constitute the Assembly of Kosovo has also failed.

MPs again failed to elect a new speaker, failing to end the institutional crisis.

There were no proposals for the name of the new Speaker of the Assembly from any of the opposition parties.

Of the 95 deputies present in the hall, 53 voted in favor, 53 against, and there were no abstentions.

A day earlier, the acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met with opposition parties, and as he said, offered two compromises but they were rejected by them.

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo declared three days ago that the Assembly must be constituted within 1 month.
