Will Vjosa Osmani return to LDK? Abdixhiku reveals the project: It will be a
Vjosa Osmani and Lumir Abdixhiku

The leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, told A2 CNN that he is trying to build a serious and sustainable alternative for the country with his call for a unity of the right.

Through a written response, Abdixhiku explained the purpose behind his project:

"My call and the project I am building is not a matter of combining parties. It is a process that stems from the need for a right-wing direction for Kosovo. for stable political principles and for a clear vision for Kosovo."

Asked if current president Vjosa Osmani will join this project, Abdixhiku neither denied nor confirmed, saying that he intends to bring together all those who belong to the LDK vision:

"At this stage, we are focused on uniting all those who historically belong to the LDK vision; as a natural step to build a serious and sustainable alternative. We are on a very good path. We are not doing political arithmetic, but we are building political content. Very soon we will have other clarifications."

Osmani's return to LDK or running on a joint list is seen by political analysts as mutually beneficial. Osmani would have a well-organized structure at his disposal, while Abdixhiku would be an important figure and have the opportunity to increase his votes in the event of elections. However, Osmani's return to her first political home is not expected to be easy.

Analyst Belgzim Kamberi says:

"We must not forget that accommodating Ms. Osmani in such a collaboration is not so easily achievable because of course Ms. Osmani also has people who disagree with her within the LDK and within such a list."

Abdixhiku's project is assessed to be based on a clear platform and not be a union of figures of the same ideology due to the moment:

"Will there be a clear political concept or is it just a union of certain individuals who want to have a better electoral result or is it a kind of embodiment of similar worldviews that represent a political concept and secondly, such a union would have to have a political concept on how it would respond to current challenges."

In addition to Osmani, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has also been rumored as a party that could be invited for such an initiative. Haradinaj's party has a history of cooperation with the LDK since the time of former president Ibrahim Rugova.
