A pregnant British woman has launched a desperate online search for a Scottish man who is the father of her child after a drunken night out on holiday in Tenerife, whose name she doesn't even know.

Sarah-Jayne Snow, 30, says she was shocked to learn she became pregnant after a night of love with the 19-year-old Scotsman, whose name she can't even remember, while on holiday last August.

The pair failed to exchange phone numbers and now Mrs Snow is trying to contact the young man, who she believes is from Glasgow, to tell him he is to become a father next month.

The woman herself is Scottish from East Lothian, and has already posted a message that has gone viral on social media with millions of views, along with a photo of the two of them with him kissing her on the cheek.

Along with the video, Miss Snow wrote: "Anyone who knows this guy from Glasgow who I met in Tenerife on 5/6 August, I think he works at Braehead Shopping Center (or used to, I'm not sure). to tell him that he is going to be a father.'

The post also included footage of the Rrugica Veronica tourist attraction in Tenerife, where the two had first met.

Speaking to local daily The Sun, Ms Snow described their sexual episode as 'something consensual between two drunken adults'.

She says they then went their separate ways, choosing not to exchange contacts, but after finding out she was pregnant she felt she had to find him.

"I can't take care of my son alone, and I don't even want to not know who his father is," said the expectant mother. "I just want the father of this family to know that if he wants to he can be involved."

Miss Snow says she was on holiday with her sister on the Spanish beach of Tenerife when the stranger offered to escort her home late into the night.

She says that she didn't want to get involved at first because of their 10-year age difference, as she was 29 at the time and he was 19.

But then, just to be sure, she called her sister via video and showed her the face of the boy who was accompanying her anyway. "To be honest, I was more drunk than him and the reason we slept together was because he stopped me on the street and asked me to go with him," says the girl.

The kindergarten worker says she had a headache the next day and was surprised to find out she was pregnant. After thinking for some time she decided to keep the baby because she felt ready to be a mother.

Snow insists her appeal is not about financial support or a relationship with the father, but says she is desperate for him to assist with the birth, which is expected at the end of the month.
