The Twin Towers attacked on September 11, 2001

Americans and the whole world commemorate this Monday, on their 22nd anniversary, the terrorist attacks of September 11.

Commemorative ceremonies, like every year, with the tolling of bells in honor of the victims, start at the time and place where the attacks start, in chronological order.

First near the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York. Then to the Pentagon and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. President Biden is expected to attend a military ceremony in Anchorage as he returns to Washington after an official visit to India and Vietnam.

Almost 3 thousand people lost their lives in the attacks of 22 years ago, events that changed the internal and external policy of the United States of America.
