Kosovo started its journey to the Nations League in the best possible way.

"Dardans" triumphed with a minimum score of 1-0 against Ireland at the "Fadil Vokrri" stadium, a challenge valid for League B.

The hero of the match was Vedat Muriqi, who scored the only and decisive goal of this match.

The striker scored with a header in the 83rd minute, sending a crossbar ball into the net.

The team led by Franco Foda dominated the match throughout the entire 90 minutes, creating consecutive scoring opportunities.

This success brings Kosovo up to 3 points in the group, keeping pace with Austria, which defeated Israel.

The next challenge for the Dardanians will be the away game against Austria on September 27th.
