Stories coming from across the Atlantic speak of a connection between drug trafficking and arms trafficking. These stories have often become the subject of Hollywood films. Even the tragic event of Gërdec in Albania has been made into a film, titled “Dogs of War”. But, undoubtedly the most famous film is “Lord of War” , or in Albanian “ Zoti i Župce” , which tells the story of an arms trafficker who rose up after the collapse of the European Union.

This story seems to be repeating itself in Albania, where an individual with strong ties to the majority and the government is taking the place of “ Viktor Bout”. Emiljano Dusha has become a “real merchant of death”, as his weapons supply state institutions. He has won every major tender from the police, the guards or even prisons, while also distributing weapons to private police, where we have reported and denounced that weapons do not always reach their destination, as they can also end up on the black market.

Information provided by VoxNews shows that Dusha has strong ties, even family ties, with individuals and groups who have lived and worked in Latin American countries. Security institutions have "in hand" facts that Emiljano Dusha's brother has lived for about 15 years in Colombia, a country where Albanian gangs have become the "kings" of the street. They have even replaced local groups, while organizing illegal drug and weapons trafficking from Colombia to the US or even Europe, not to mention the murders that occur in that country between groups, including Albanians.

VoxNews does not have accurate information on the activities of Emiljano Dusha's brother in Latin America. The subject of this investigation is the decision-making of the Albanian government, which has introduced Dusha as a strategic investor in a very complex business, the production of weapons. His companies have signed agreements with the state-owned company "KAYO" for the production of weapons and uniforms for the army.

Këto bilance janë deklaruar në vitin 2025, ndërkohë që aksioneri i vetëm Emiljano Dusha e ka hedhur këtë fitim në rritjen e kapitalit të shoqërisë. “Fitimi neto, sipas bilancit të shoqërisë për vitin 2024, është në shumën 401.450.823 lekë. Shuma do të kalojë për rezerva e investime” thuhet në dokument.

Ndërkohë, pas tenderëve dhe firmës së uniformave, Ardi Veliu dhe Emiljano Dusha kanë krijuar një tjetër firmë, të emërtuar MKD. MSSC ka 80 % të aksioneve dhe Kayo ka 20 %. Më pas janë caktuar edhe anëtarët e Këshillit Drejtues, të cilët janë Ferzilet Osmëni, Glevin Dervishi, Emiljano Dusha, Eralda Jahaj dhe Fatjon Murati.

"The object of the activity is the production and trade of small and medium caliber ammunition. This includes the production and trade of ammunition for the Armed Forces and other security structures. The list of products that the Company will produce and trade will be determined and updated in the Business Plan approved by the shareholders, and changes to this list will be approved according to the decision-making mechanisms of the Company," the document states.

The company's articles of association stipulate that MKD may establish branches or regional offices within or outside the country, as necessary. It may enter into commercial cooperation agreements, partnerships or joint ventures with other persons or entities.

VoxNews has also researched other documents, which show that Emiljano Dusha preferred to authorize other people to sign agreements with state institutions. He did not prefer to sign himself, but to authorize his loyalists to sign.
