There are few citizens who have not turned to banks to get a loan, even for buying a phone or taking a week's vacation. When a few days ago the Bank of Albania came out with a new regulation for second-tier banks with the aim of curbing lending, VoxNews conducted a questionnaire to understand more from its readers if they received a loan, what they received it for, do they have difficulties in paying the installments, how are the interests, or would they go to the banks again for a new loan. The responses were somewhat within expectations. Most of those who responded to this survey received a loan at least once from second-level banks. 82 percent state that they received a loan from the bank, where 57 percent of them had difficulties in obtaining the loan.

Even according to this questionnaire, referring to the difficulty they encountered, 35.7 percent of them would go to the banks again for a new loan. Likewise, another interesting indicator speaks of the increase in the difficulty of paying monthly installments to the extent of 64.3 percent. Similarly, the majority of those who answered the questionnaire talk about home loans, this is the question of what you got the loan for, 42.9 percent of the answers came for the purchase of a house and where 100 percent of those who answered see the interest high. Another interesting fact is that most of those who took a loan from the bank took it in the local currency.

If we come to make an analysis of what this questionnaire brought us and where our readers have answered it for a week, we notice that generally going to the bank to get a loan remains a necessity even if the interest rates are high or they have difficulties in paying the monthly installments.
