Lesson from Meta, PS 'connects' President: No more than 25 decorations

Edi Rama has accused Ilir Meta that in five years at the helm of the Presidency he has completely devalued the decorations and medals he has distributed en masse and without any restrictions.

"How do you expect Ilir Meta to respond for January 21st? The only thing that can do is to distribute decorations, decorations of no value, meaning of content that are a great mockery of those people who unfortunately still go and take the decorations of Ilir Meta that are empty in meaning content and value", declared Edi Rama on 21 January this year.

However, to avoid abuses in the future, according to the Socialists, with the decorations they have nearly a bill limiting the number of their distribution. In total, the bill proposes that within the year no more than 254 decorations can be given, of which the President without proposal can approve only 10 percent, i.e. only 25 decorations per year.

If passed, the law will first serve the new President, Bajram Begaj.

Meanwhile, socialists with organic law for the head of state have stated that they will also deposit a bill that will regulate the functions and competencies of the President.

Currently, the President does not have a special law for the exercise of activity, but relies on the Constitution. The constitution was the apple of the sherry between the SP of Meta in these five years on mutual charges for its violation.
