Ilir Meta could no longer avoid commenting on the new developments in the Elbasan incinerator file, where according to the reports denounced to the SPAK and the documents made public, the former Minister of Finance has benefited from direct payments from Klodian Zoto and moreover did not has declared them, as required by law.

But, even though the evidence against Ahmetaj is so convincing that even the former minister himself has chosen to remain silent, the leader of the Freedom Party again avoided a direct answer, rambling on with words and sentences with a single purpose; the defense of Arben Ahmetaj.

To begin with, Ilir Meta answered the journalist's question in the interview given to the Albanian public radio and television with a question. "Has a problem arisen for Mr. Ahmetaj?", he said. The purpose of this sentence in itself does not mean that Ilir Meta is not aware of this 'problematic', as he calls it, because there has been talk about this issue for 10 days.

The goal is another. The real goal is to relativize the evidence and facts that have come to light, where Arben Ahmetaj is included with both feet in the Elbasan incinerator file.

After that, Meta half-voicedly demands that Ahmetaj be investigated for this matter, but classifying him as a 'cironka' of the file and refusing to accept that Arben Ahmetaj was actually the head of the scheme.

Meta says that one should put the finger in the wound and the finger in the wound, according to him, is Edi Rama. Further, the hypocritical attempt to protect Arben Ahmatejn is elaborated in the sentence when he says: 'But so that we don't see or put our finger in the wound... and see what Edi Rama and his own people are doing, this one didn't sleep here, he didn't sleep he there".

The purpose is to invalidate the evidence that has emerged against the former Minister of Finance, trying to treat the bills of his nights in luxury European hotel suites with the payments made by Klodian Zoto as a peripheral matter of the file, even personal.

Rasti ishte i thjeshtë dhe lidhej me një episod, ku Meta tregonte se si vendimet e Qeverisë nuk kalonin nëse nuk miratoheshin nga ministri i Financave dhe ai i Drejtësisë. Kjo do të thotë, se për inceneratorët, Ahmetaj ka dhënë miratimin si ministër Ekonomie dhe si ministër Financash.

Por, pse investohet kaq shumë Ilir Meta që ta mbrojë? Arsyeja duket se është vetëm një; pakti i fshehtë që kanë bashkë, ku Ahmetaj i dha një dosje, që më pas u amplifikua nga LSI me akuza ‘të një grupi të strukturuar kriminal’ e korrupsioni në vlera stratosferike që përsëriteshin deklaratë pas deklarate, e studio më studio.

U përmenden publikisht nga Monika Kryemadhi dhe Ilir Meta me dhjetra e dhjetra emra, nga shoferë, deri te inxhinierë e pensionistë, si pjesë e këtij grupi të strukturuar kriminal, që gjoja po i bënte gjëmën buxhetit të shtetit shqiptar. Deklaratat ishin thuajse identike për muaj me radhë dhe i vetmi që nuk përmendej ishte emri i Arben Ahmetajt.

In fact, even if the accusations officially raised by SPAK are to be taken for granted, the file only proves fiscal evasion. The part of corruption remains a conjecture, since at least in the case of the Elbasan incinerator, it has been proven that the Albtech company has circulated fictitious invoices with other companies, but has again benefited from the money in its accounts.
