Faced with the SPAK's closed file on corruption involving millions of euros in the Llogara tunnel, Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku has publicly appeared calm, participating in activities at home and abroad, as if nothing had happened.

But publicly she has avoided comments regarding the investigations and accusations raised by SPAK, while behind the scenes she is moving every stone in Albania and abroad to secure political and extralegal support.

VoxNews.al exclusively learns that while her subordinates were presenting the draft budget of the Ministry of Infrastructure for next year in the Parliament, Belinda Balluku herself was busy with a personal agenda in the United States of America.

Sources for VoxNews claim that Balluku traveled to the United States on Thursday of last week and returned to Tirana on Sunday.

There is no official communication about her trip to the US, but it is unofficially confirmed that she has been trying to secure support from the US administration in the face of accusations of corruption in Albania.

How successful these efforts have been, time will tell, but her trip across the Atlantic during this period shows that the Deputy Prime Minister's problems go beyond Albanian justice...
