Was Altin Dumani hit by the rivalry within the SPAK for direction?

Note - In December 2019, just over a week after the start of operation of the SPAK in the Supreme Prosecutor's Council, procedures for the selection of the head of this facility began.

The race was held among three names, The Kraja, Altin Dumani and Edvin Kondilli. According to the professional assessment and contribution to the justice system, which the Supreme Prosecutor's Council had made in July 2019 to the three names of the Special Prosecutor, Altin Dumani was considered the favourite.

Duman was rated with more points than Kraja and Kondilli in this race, even during public hearings before KLP was also praised for the SPAK's leadership platform.

However, during the vote of 11 KLP members, The Kraja received 6 votes and secured the position as leader of the SPAK, while Altin Dumani received four such and Edwin Kondilli only one vote.

The mandate of the SPAK leader has been conceived three years by reform in justice and at the end of this year, The Kraja ends this mandate. Altin Dumani may aim again in front of KLP to run this structure.

But his ambition was recently hit by Besjan Dzija's unproven statements to the Special Court. Xhija alleged that Nuredin Dumani, the arrested man with suspicions that there are at least 12 murders on his back, had guaranteed him recognition with ministers, deputies and prosecutors. In prosecutors, he mentions Altin Duman's name.

Apart from the same surname, there is no evidence to link the special prosecutor to the 'murder entrepreneur' and more than true, Xhija's statements sound (at least at the moment) like the 'under-generation' blow to Altin Duman.

All this raises doubts that this blow came from within the SPAK as part of the rivalry for the direction of this structure, where Altin Dumani, at least according to the assessment of the High Prosecutor's Own Council of three years ago, is considered the most qualified candidate.
