Technology center in Kashar? It will cost 1.3 billion ALL, and 7,000 new jobs are expected to be created

In order to expand the range of industries operating in the market, but also to attract foreign investments to the market, the technological center "TEDA" will be built in the area of ​​Kashari.

According to the business plan published in the official notebook, TEDA TIRANA, considered a technology park, will work together in a single area with a focus on the automotive industry, but also that of electronic equipment, pharmaceuticals, agro-processing and tourism.

"Beneficiaries will be all sectors as the technology finds application everywhere. In education, Fintech, opportunities in tourism through technology and also high development in the agriculture and technology sector", said Hatixhe Bylykbashi, expert in the field of entrepreneurship.

The aim of such a technological park in the prepared plan includes the production of a series of products missing for the market but also the promotion of production and for the international market thus increasing competitiveness.

Positioned between Kashari and Vaqarri, with an area of ​​over 35 hectares, near the Port of Durrës and Tirana Airport, with an expected investment of 103 million Euros, TEDA Tirana is expected to create 5-7 thousand jobs.

"Very large technology development where many actors will work together, entrepreneurship, the education system, scientific research and public institutions to facilitate the development of these parks."

The creation of a Western standard technology and economic development zone is expected to cost the state budget about 1.3 billion ALL.

There are about 23 economic zones in the Western Balkans, which have attracted over 210 foreign investors.
