Zaim Lusha and Arben Haka planted 80 hectares of land with wheat in Myzeqe and Luz.

For three years they have cooperated with each other in planting wheat, but this year they responded to the call of the Ministry of Agriculture to increase the areas.

Both of them together threw millions of Lek in the hope that they would have a bigger production and ensure sufficient profits, this referring to the price of wheat a year ago, which was increased by 5 thousand Lek per quintal. But now that the collection price does not go more than 2800 they cannot cover the costs.

The two farmers have rented a warehouse in Durrës to store the grain, but this is also an added cost for them.

Wheat in the yards and unharvested in the fields is a sight that accompanies you in this harvest-threshing season wherever this crop is planted./TCH
