The initiative of the socialist Erion Braçe in support of farmers to provide solutions to their late payments found the support of all the deputies of the majority and the opposition in the Economy Commission.

The proposal envisages the establishment of a clear deadline for payments and interest delays in cases of non-fulfilment of obligations on time and, according to Brace, simultaneously aims to formalize the market and the entire agricultural sector.

"By establishing this legal framework, I aim to provide a solution to delayed payments, on the other hand, we aim for even greater formalization that pushes the farmer towards the contract with the collection points and secondly, the negotiation of the transaction through an invoice that today does not it works, he will receive the money within a very short period", Braçe said.
