Citizen protest activist Ilir Xhemalaj said that all disappointed democrats are welcome on the boulevard, but Sali Berisha or DP deputies are not welcome.

Speaking on the "Off the Record" show on A2CNN, Xhemalaj considered both Socialist and Democratic MPs to be trapped.

"We are not inviting Sali Berisha to the square, but the opposition forces. All those oppositionists disappointed with the DP and the SP. We want all these people to come to the square, free, not led by a party or leader. To come to the square as oppositionists, and as oppositionists to try to overthrow the Rama government. The DP cannot be represented by those MPs it has, it has a broad base. We want these people. We are not asking for Klevis Balliu to come to the protest. We want all those disappointed democrats to come to the square, not the MPs. We know the MPs very well, whether from the SP or the DP, he is captured", said Xhemalaj.

Democratic leader Sali Berisha, after initially announcing a major national protest on October 8 and calling on citizens and opposition supporters to mobilize, today declared that the Democrats will join the civic protest previously announced by the "Flamingo Revolution".

At a media conference this Monday, Berisha called on Democrats from Tirana and the districts to participate in Thursday's protest, but this time he asked that they go without flags and symbols of the Democratic Party.

"On Thursday, in the national civic protest, democrats from all over Albania and Tirana will join and will be in the civic protest without symbols, without flags! We are in a youth civic protest, for an extremely great cause! ", declared Berisha.
