On Tuesday evening I was watching a TV show, which is considered and titled by the moderator ... SHOW, simply for the fact that the guests are waiting in line at the barber shop to be interviewed by him.

At one point, it was the turn of a former minister, who fixed his glazed eyes on the screen, addressing us Albanians with solemnity, as if he had made the discovery of the century: “You, my Albanian, remember that you have in your pocket a passport that moves freely because of Berisha ... at least to be grateful for the free movement ".

I rolled my eyes more than the former minister. How is it possible that in Albania, 30 years after the fall of Communism, state duties, of whatever importance, are nominally attributed to a Prime Minister who corresponds to office?

I was reminded of other expressions, consumed on TV screens by supporters of the Prime Minister: Berisha introduced us to NATO, Berisha made us the Road of the Nation ...

In other words, this Berisha is not that he just did the task for which he was mandated, but out of great love for Albanians he gave us some gifts, for which we Albanians should be grateful, because otherwise we risk we are also bakers.

Here the former minister overturned the moral code of democratic societies and I say to him publicly: it is the opposite, Mr. former minister! It is the Prime Minister who should be grateful to his people, who through vote gave him that high office.

Certainly the former minister did not go into articulating such a clarifying statement. He spoke "molded" from the communist past, where deeds were identified with despots. Considering that the former minister is relatively young in age, who has greatly enjoyed the benefits and benefits of the democratic system, even as an official of his, that after all monism has been overthrown for 30 years, I thought: how deep this Communism had its roots!

How many more years or decades will it take for the Albanian society to be cleansed of such fanatics or servants?

I'm sure that an Italian traveling by car on the Autostrada Del Sole (the main artery of the Apennine Peninsula) has no idea that it was built at the time when the Prime Minister of Italy was Aldo Moro, nor does it go intends to be grateful to him. I am just as sure that a Greek does not "forgive" Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis when he passes by his car on the famous and most modern bridge in Greece, Rio - Antirrio, and he is certainly not a baker.

The prime ministers do the job and leave, even soon, the deeds remain!
