Mariza Kola, the sister of 34-year-old Kristian Kola, who was executed in Shkodra on Thursday evening, spoke to Euronews Albania, confessing her pain and doubts about the tragic event. She expresses concern that her brother had no criminal record and was a calm person, without conflicts or hostility with anyone.

"They called me, they told me your brother was killed. They took me from society, not family members initially. The brother did not have a criminal record. They have worked in construction and have never dealt with anything else. There has never been any conflict or enmity with anyone." - says Mariza Kola.

She adds that she spoke to him only the day before the murder and had expected to speak again at dinner, but this did not happen.

"We don't know anything, they haven't told us anything. It's not easy to put this in your mind." - she says.

Mariza also says that their father was not allowed to see his brother's body when he was transported, while the ambulance was delayed about an hour to arrive at the scene.

"It is the job of the police to find the perpetrators and find out what happened. But I suspect that the police are implicated in this crime. I just want justice." - she concludes.
