A video has been published of the moment when the suspected perpetrator of the rape of an Italian tourist approaches her, while sitting on a bench in Durrës.

Leonardo Preza is seen approaching her and telling her something, the suspicions are that he tried to sell her or give her drugs. The two talk and both leave in the direction of the beach on a sunbed where the 18-year-old Italian claims that the sexual assault happened.

"During the night we were with friends and consumed alcoholic beverages. For a moment I left the group and sat on a sunbed, which was located a few meters away from the hotel. This happened around 05:30 in the morning of September 5. During this time, I was approached by a person who physically attacked me and despite my attempts to defend himself, raped me and then left", declared the Italian to the police.

Thus, Preza has stated that he has committed every act by consensus.
