Ernejt Shyti was arrested only two weeks after committing the murder of Behar Sofia

The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime has given the claim to the five defendants who are accused of murdering the businessman Behar Sofia in 2021.

SPAK requested a sentence of 30 years in prison for the 4 defendants Bujar Leza, Leonard Xhixha, Skënder Vathi and Xhuljano Visha.

As for the associate of justice, Ernejt Shytin, SPAK requested a sentence of 7 years in prison.

Behar Sofia was followed by the perpetrator, who executed her with two bullets from a pistol with a silencer, as she was walking by the river of Lana, very close to the "Pyramid" and in the middle of the day.

The author, Ernejt Shyti, testified that he was promised 50 million euros for Sofia's murder, while he indicated that the murder was ordered by Leza, Xhixha, Vathi and Visha, with whom he had collaborated in organizing the murder.

It is suspected that the reason is the criminal past of Behar Sofia, who was involved in heroin trafficking.
