The Lezha prosecution charges albanian with British passport Edmond Haxhia, under suspicion, as the mastermind of the murder of Ardian Nikulaj along with the surveillance team made up of four Britons, all of which were arrested in the UK pending extradition to Albania.
The same prosecutor in the indictment points out that Edmond Haxhia is a cousin of the first generation with Elton and Klodian Lekstakaj, in conflict of enmity with the family of victim Ardian Nikulaj.
The investigation is ongoing to reach the evidence of the financier of the murder. But some official documents from Birmingham police, obtained by Top Channel journalist Muhamed Veliu, show that the financiers of the murder in Shëngjin 15 months ago are part of an organized criminal group.
For several years, this criminal group profited millions of pounds from engaging in prostitution in a strip nightclub on one of Birmingham's main streets.
The size of the monetary benefits from this criminal group are shown in this document of the English police, which is already available from the authorities, of albanian justice.
"Information indicates that as of January 2017, £1.6 million has been loaned within this company. The information checked tells us that the person has links to Albanian Organized Crime."
Edmond Haxhia worked as a manager, in the nightclub where he also offered striptease and sex for extra payment. The license of this business was held by a relative of albanian nationals, with a British passport.
The 144-page Westmidland Police file details that at this night's pub customers were sprayed with drugs, and then thousands of pounds stolen from their bank cards.
The Birmingham Police Report states: Located in the wheel of the supervisor of this bar, in the birmingham municipal council's lices system is Edmond Haxhia. The worst crime reported in this bar occurred on 13 March 2017, when the victim was drugged and 9,000 pounds taken from his credit card. The following day, the victim bought a drug test at the pharmacy, which resulted in him being under the influence of Methadone. This was a drug the victim told police he did not take or have never used in his life.
For the same night club where Edmond Hajja worked as a manager, Birmingham police arrive at this conclusion.
"West Mindlands police have begun to collect data that raises concern that this environment is being used and managed by members of an organised Albanian criminal group."
This data, first published by Top Channel, shows that money earned from criminal activities in England was used to organise and finalize the murder of Ardian Nikulaj on 19 April 2023.
The date has been set for whether England will accept the Albanian state's request to extradite one Albanian and four Britons suspected of being involved in the murder of Ardian Nikulaj in Shëngjin.
