Toni Nake, the suspected perpetrator of the murder of 49-year-old Kreshnik Cara, has been questioned by the investigation team to shed light on the circumstances of the conflict that ended with his murder on Wednesday evening on "Marko Boçari" Street in Tirana.

In his testimony, the 50-year-old stated that he was in the same bar as Kreshnik Cara, but at different tables. According to him, everything started after a brief argument. Initially, the two had a verbal altercation, while Nake then went to his apartment, took a knife and returned to the bar, where he stabbed the 49-year-old several times in the stomach. Sources close to the investigation group indicate that Toni Nake is known to be a drug user. Even in the statements given to the investigation group, he was not consistent in his testimony, while claiming that he was often bullied.
