After 5 days of water shortage, water supply has begun to a part of the city of Vlora - currently the Lungomare area. The rest of the city is expected to be supplied with water in the coming hours.

With the arrival of the equipment ordered in Turkey, during the night dozens of employees of the water supply and sewage system in Vlora worked to repair the main pipeline, from which the crack was causing the lack of drinking water.

The intervention to repair the pipe was completed at around 04:00 in the morning, at which point the filling of the storage tanks also began. Authorities indicate that the supply is still being carried out at reduced capacity, as the newly installed equipment is being tested.
