45-year-old Albanian dies in an accident in Italy, his son miraculously survives
Scene from the accident

A 45-year-old Albanian man lost his life in a tragic accident recorded last night in Italy. He was driving a truck, while his son was saved who was sleeping in the upper part of the cabin at the time of the accident.

Media across the Adriatic report that the truck was moving north in the area of Torino di Sangro near Chieti. But, for reasons that have not been fully clarified, the driver did not notice the signage and entered a road construction site where work was being done. As a result, the truck collided with a trailer where several concrete barriers were placed.

The Albanian died immediately from the collision. Fortunately, his son escaped unharmed. The accident was serious as 8 other people, Italians and foreigners, who were working there were injured. They were immediately taken to the hospital.

It is learned that father and son were transporting cherries. The first suspicions are that the incident may have occurred as a result of confusion, sleepiness or a sudden illness that caused the Albanian not to see the warnings on the road and avoid the lane.
