New bridge of friendship, the Municipality of Mirdita is twinned with the

The official signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Twinning between the Municipality of Mirdita and the Municipality of Pezinok District took place in Pezinok, Slovakia. The agreement was signed by the mayors of the respective municipalities, Mr. Albert Mëlyshi and Mr. Roman Mács, in the presence of high diplomatic figures.

Present at this ceremony were the Ambassador of Albania in Bratislava, Mr. Arten Hanku, the Ambassador of Slovakia in Tirana, Mr. Albin Otruba, as well as the President of the Bratislava Region, Mr. Juraj Droba.

This twinning, supported by the respective embassies, aims to strengthen cooperation between the two municipalities in areas of common interest, such as productive development, education, culture and the preservation of folk traditions. The agreement will also serve as a new bridge of friendship and cooperation between the Albanian and Slovak people.

This important step is expected to pave the way for concrete projects that will bring the communities of Mirdita and Pezinok closer together.
