A property issue has become a bone of contention between two brothers in the “Ujit të Ftohtë” neighborhood in Vlora. One of the brothers, Julian Toro, has threatened the other with a gun.

The situation could have escalated to the use of a gun without the timely intervention of the police who arrested the 47-year-old. The gun, cartridges and 2 combs have been seized.

The escalation of the armed conflict, for property reasons, between two brothers in the "Uji i Ftohtë" neighborhood is prevented.

As a result of the immediate intervention, the 47-year-old man with a criminal record for drug trafficking was arrested.

A pistol firearm, with 2 magazines and 30 cartridges, was seized.

Immediately after the notification of a conflict in a family in the "Uji i Ftohtë" neighborhood, the services of the Vlora Police Commissariat organized the work and went to the scene to clarify the circumstances and involvement in this conflict.

As a result of swift police action, carried out within the framework of the codenamed "Lidhja" operation, criminal events in this family were prevented, and citizen JT, 47 years old, was arrested in flagrante delicto, as it is suspected that, for property reasons, he threatened his brother with a firearm.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for further action.
