A serious accident resulting in the death of two women occurred this afternoon in Çukas, Lushnja.

Mirela Hasko and Florije Xhepa were victims of this accident after the vehicle they were traveling in ended up in a canal.

It is suspected that Hasko and Xhepa drowned due to the amount of water in the canal.

The causes of the fatal accident are still unclear, while the investigation team and emergency services have arrived at the scene.

The relevant authorities are working to fully clarify the dynamics of the case.
