A family conflict was recorded this afternoon in the Shkozet area, in Durrës.

According to preliminary data, a couple, a man and a woman, were taken to the hospital for medical attention after suffering knife injuries.

The incident took place in neighborhood 14, in Shkozet, opposite the AKU premises.

"Around 17:00, in neighborhood 14, citizen Xh. L., 43 years old, resident of neighborhood 14, is suspected of having, after a domestic conflict with his wife, citizen AL, 38 years old, resident of neighborhood 14, injured her in the head with a cutting tool (knife). During the conflict, citizen Xh. L. was also injured.

As a result, both spouses suffered injuries and were taken to the hospital for medical attention. Currently, both are out of danger.

"The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office is working to clarify the dynamics of the event and complete legal documentation of the case," the police announced.
