A serious event took place in Chania, Greece, where a 12-year-old Albanian was pulled unconscious from the sea.

The Albanian child was diving to bathe on Sunday, July 9, when he drowned. He was pulled ashore by a lifeguard at Georgiopoulos beach and rushed to hospital.

Doctors initially placed him in intubation, while he was transported to the Heraklion Hospital in Athens. However, the condition of the Albanian remains serious, as the doctors have said that he has brain death.

The parents of the child from Albania have been informed of the developments, but are still hoping for a miracle until the last moment.
