The Fier Prosecutor's Office has provided details of the macabre murder of 56-year-old Anesti Rama , who was allegedly raped and strangled with a wire by his daughter Emalinda Rama and Çlirim Dogani , with whom the young woman is said to have had an intimate relationship.

According to the prosecution, on the evening of July 23, at around 9:16 PM, a call was received at the Fier Operations Room requesting an ambulance, after a citizen was injured in the toilet of his apartment located in the village of Frashër.

When the ambulance arrived at the victim's house, he was reportedly lying lifeless in the living room, wearing a suit and shirt.

"Medical personnel determined that Anesti Rama had lost his life and notified the Operating Room that "the person for whom they requested medical assistance is dead," informs the Fier Prosecutor's Office.

When the investigation team arrived at the scene, they found cracks on the 56-year-old's body in the forehead, above the eyebrow, a bruise above the right eyebrow, as well as other injuries.

The victim's daughter and his wife, Valbona Rama, stated to the investigation team that they had found the deceased in the apartment's toilet with no signs of life and covered in blood.

They had notified neighbors that the 56-year-old had fallen into the toilet, and the ambulance and police were subsequently notified.

"They moved the deceased from the toilet, cleaned and dressed him, in order to perform the funeral rites, and cleaned the scene of the incident," the prosecution explained.

After investigative actions, the following were arrested in flagrante delicto:

Emalinda Rama , suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Murder due to family relations", committed in collaboration,

Valbona Rama,  suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Acts that hinder the discovery of the truth"

As well as the detention at the initiative of the citizen:

Çlirim Dogani , suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Murder due to family relations", committed in collaboration.

Suspected of killing his father in collaboration with another person, the Fier Prosecution is prosecuting three citizens for two criminal offenses

The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier registered criminal proceedings no. 1073, dated 24.07.2025 for the criminal offense "Murder due to family relations", committed in collaboration, provided for by articles 79/c and 25 of the Criminal Code and "Acts that impede the discovery of the truth", provided for by article 301 of the Criminal Code against three citizens ERVR and Ç.D.

The first investigative actions resulted in the fact that, on 23.07.2025, at around 21:16, a call was made to the Fier Operations Room requesting the dispatch of an ambulance, after a citizen had been injured in the toilet of his apartment located in the village of Frashër.

The Fier Regional Hospital ambulance went to the apartment of citizen AR, who was found lying in the living room of his apartment, wearing a suit and shirt.

The medical personnel determined that citizen AR had lost his life and notified the Operating Room that "the person for whom they requested medical assistance is dead."

In accordance with the investigative procedure prescribed in such cases, the investigation team went to the scene. From the external examination of the deceased's body, it was found that he had a crack in the forehead, a crack above the eyebrow, a bruise above the right eyebrow, as well as other injuries.

The deceased's daughter, citizen ER, and his wife, citizen VR, stated to the investigation team that they had found the deceased in the toilet of the apartment with no signs of life and covered in blood, they had notified the neighbors that this citizen had fallen into the toilet and subsequently the ambulance and police were notified.

They moved the deceased from the toilet, cleaned and dressed him for the purpose of performing the funeral rites, and cleaned the scene.

After carrying out the first investigative actions, including the use of proactive investigation methods, the arrest in flagrante delicto of citizen ER, suspected of committing the criminal offense "Murder due to family relations", committed in collaboration, provided for by articles 79/c and 25 of the Criminal Code, of citizen VR, suspected of committing the criminal offense "Actions that hinder the discovery of the truth", provided for by article 301 of the Criminal Code, as well as the detention on the initiative of citizen Ç.D., suspected of committing the criminal offense "Murder due to family relations", committed in collaboration, provided for by articles 79/c and 25 of the Criminal Code.

The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier requested the legal validation of the arrests and detentions, as well as the assignment of the security measure "arrest in prison" for the three people under investigation, requests which were accepted by the court.
