Albanian caught with 12 packets of cocaine in Italy

The carabinieri of Perugia arrested in flagrante delicto a 36-year-old Albanian suspected of being involved in a drug trafficking network in Italy. He will also be charged with assaulting a public official and breaking the order to enter the country.

His capture took place a few days ago during a patrol, while the suspect was traveling in a car in the San Sisto area. When officers asked him for a physical check, he tried to flee quickly, but was caught during the pursuit, Italian media informs.

He also opposed and attacked the officers who were arresting him. During the check, it was discovered that 12 packages of cocaine, with a total weight of 8.4 grams, were hidden inside a cavity in the passenger compartment of the vehicle he was driving.
