The 24-year-old driver of an SUV that was involved in an accident in the "bypass" of Vlora has died from the collision with the truck.

The police say that the cause of the accident is suspected to be the loss of control of the car by the 24-year-old with the initials IP

So, the 23-year-old passenger of the "Benz" with the initials DK is in critical condition

Police Notification:

Around 16:00, on the bypass of Vlora, near the village of Kaninë, the citizen IP, about 24 years old, allegedly lost control over the driving of the "Benz" type vehicle and as a result the vehicle collided with the rocky part on the side of the road.

Due to the injuries, the driver of the vehicle lost his life, while the passenger, a citizen of DK, about 23 years old, was sent to the hospital and is under the care of doctors.

The investigative team is at the scene and is carrying out further actions related to clarifying the circumstances of the accident.
