A 32-year-old man from Nigeria has been criminally prosecuted, after he was caught in the port of Vlora trying to travel to Italy with false documents.

"The 32-year-old presented at the counter, at the exit, an Italian identity card with his data, which, after examination in the laboratory, turned out to be forged", informs the Vlora police.

As a result of increased controls by the Border Police services and the use of modern tools for examining documents, 1 case of an attempt to cross the border with forged documents was detected.  

The Nigerian citizen who tried to leave Albania with a forged Italian identification document is being prosecuted.        

Border Police Services in the Port of Vlora, as a result of increased controls and the use of modern tools for examining documents, based on risk analysis, have detected 1 case of an attempt to cross the border with forged documents.

As a result of the actions, the crime investigation specialists of DVKM Vlora referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the criminal proceedings for the citizen began:   

OS, 32 years resident of Nigeria.

The 32-year-old presented at the counter, at the exit, an Italian identity card with his data, which after examination in the laboratory, turned out to be forged. 

The fake letter was seized as material evidence.   

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Vlora, for further actions.
