He broke the arrest order and did not obey the order to stop, the police provide

Durrës Police have provided official information about the incident that occurred today in neighborhood no. 14, where a person under "house arrest" disobeyed a police order and crashed into 5 parked vehicles.

According to a preliminary Police report, at around 12:45, in neighborhood no. 14 of Durrës, the services of the "Eagle" Special Force, during patrol, signaled a stop sign to the driver of a vehicle that was moving at high speed.

However, the driver of the vehicle did not obey the officers' order and continued driving. While attempting to leave, he crashed into five parked vehicles, causing only material damage.

After the collision, the driver of the vehicle, identified by the Police as citizen R. Xh., abandoned the vehicle and ran away from the scene.

Immediately after the incident, the Police services were put in pursuit of him and are conducting intensive checks in the area to locate and capture the perpetrator.

From the first investigative actions it resulted that R. Xh. was wanted for the criminal offense "Removing a prisoner from his place of residence", after he had violated the security measure "House arrest", which was imposed on him within the framework of the proceedings for the criminal offense "Fraud".

Police Notification

At around 12:45, in neighborhood no. 14, Durrës, the services of the "Eagle" Special Force, during patrol, signaled a stop sign to the driver of a vehicle that was moving at high speed, but he did not obey the Police order and continued driving.

While driving away, the driver of the vehicle, citizen R. Xh., crashed into 5 parked vehicles, causing only material damage. He then abandoned the vehicle and ran away from the scene.

Police services immediately began pursuing him and are conducting intensive searches in the area to locate and capture him.

From the first investigative actions it resulted that citizen R. Xh. was wanted for the criminal offense "Removing a prisoner from his place of residence", after he had violated the security measure "House arrest", assigned for the criminal offense "Fraud".

The investigation team continues its work to fully clarify and document the circumstances of the case.
