Tensions at the protest, protesters attack the police with eggs and tomatoes! 5

The situation has become tense near the Namazgja Mosque, where protesters have clashed with State Police officers.

According to reports from the field, protesters have thrown tomatoes, eggs and other objects at the police forces, while the latter have not allowed them to cross the "Elbasan Road" bridge, with the aim of keeping them within the designated perimeter.

At several points, protesters attempted to break through the police cordon, which led to physical clashes between the parties.

So far, the police have escorted five people. Among them is one of the members of the protest organizing group, Arben Kola.

According to reports, Kola was neutralized by four police officers, who led him away by holding his arms and legs, while he continued to hold the megaphone in his hand.

Meanwhile, it is reported that some of the protesters have also attacked journalists who were closely following developments on the ground.
