SPAK has again refuted former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who, since yesterday's murder of Alfred Dedja, threw two serious charges against the Special Prosecutor's Office, one of which he later denied.
After accusing the SPAK prosecutor of being involved in the release of the perpetrator of yesterday's murder, which turned out to be untrue, Berisha said that Alfred Dedja was executed by Altin Hajri's brother-in-law, Julian Gjoshi, after witnessing the kidnapping, murder and disappearance of Jan Prenga .
But SPAK has reacted again today by rejecting this version of Berisha as well. According to SPAK, the victim, Alfred Dedja, from the conducted investigations, it turns out that he has nothing to do with the kidnapping and disappearance of Jan Prenga, he was not involved and was not a witness.
SPAK statement:
The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime rejects the false statements that link AD, the victim of the crime committed last night in Ndroq with an event that dates back to 2020, which is being investigated by it.
Based on the investigations carried out by SPAK up to this stage, in the framework of criminal proceedings no. 60 of 2020, the person executed yesterday evening, AD does not appear to be a witness or to have anything to do with the hostage-taking, execution and hiding of the body of victim Jan Prenga, an event that occurred in January 2020. His name does not appear to have been included in the list of employees or the payroll of the "Golden" complex, in Shijak, owned by Altin Hajri, at the time of the crime.
The defendant Altin Hajri, owner of the "Golden" complex, is accused of being a participant in the structured criminal group that carried out the kidnapping of the citizen Jan Prenga. He is under the security measure "prison arrest" in absentia and the case in his charge is being judged in the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime.
On trial are Dritan Rexhepi and Gentjan Funiqi, who ordered his kidnapping; Martin Bleta and Korado Kështenja who organized the hostage taking while Artan Doçaj, Aldo Majnishta and Geraldo Martini, who sent the victim after the kidnapping, to the "Golden" complex.
The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime has addressed several official requests to the police structures, as the body responsible for the execution of the security measure against the citizen, Altin Hajri.
