Charge d'affaires Nancy VanHorn held a meeting with Prosecutor General Olsian Çela this Monday.

The US Embassy announces that at the center of the discussions was the independence, integrity and transparency of justice institutions. She expressed the support of the USA for the independent institutions of Albania, in their effort to give justice to the Albanians.

Charge d'affaires Nancy VanHorn met today with Attorney General Olsian Çela to discuss the work of the Attorney General's Office, ongoing efforts to strengthen the rule of law, emphasizing the importance of having independent institutions that operate with integrity and transparency. Ms. VanHorn reaffirmed the United States' support for Albania's independent institutions in their efforts to deliver justice to the Albanian people.
