SPAK demands 4 years and 5 months in prison for Ibrahim Lekice

SPAK asked the court to declare guilty and sentence 56-year-old Ibrahim el Salih Lekica to 4 years and 5 months of imprisonment for inciting and propagandizing the commission of terrorist acts.

If he is found guilty according to the request of the Prosecutor's Office, Lekica will also benefit from a reduced sentence, since earlier the court accepted his request to be tried by abbreviated procedure.

The 56-year-old man from Kukës was arrested in 2022 after posting on his Facebook social network in favor of ISIS and the jihad war, considering the creation of the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and their leaders as legitimate.

During the interrogation, he expressed regret for the posts made on his social networks and did not consider them as propaganda or to incite terrorist acts.

During 2022, another person was imprisoned at the request of SPAK for incitement and propaganda in committing terrorist acts.
