Operation "Fijet" continues in Shkodër, Dibër and

The police announced that a total of 34 cameras were removed in Shkodër, Dibër and Lezhë.

The implementation of the police operational plan, nationwide, coded "Fijet", initiated by the General Directorate of the State Police continues. 

During the last 24 hours, the Police has dismantled and seized dozens of other cameras that were installed in violation of the law, in several regions of the country, and in-depth investigations have been initiated for several citizens, for the criminal offense of "Unjust interference in private life" ".

- In the Shkodër region, following the second phase, the Police dismantled 20 cameras placed in violation of the law. So far, a total of 79 cameras have been seized in this district.

- In the Lezhë region, during the eleventh phase of the police operational plan coded "Fijet", the Police dismantled and seized 9 cameras placed in violation of the law, in Mirdita and Zejmen, Lezhë. For the 4 cameras installed in Zejmen, Lezhë, the investigation has been initiated for 1 citizen. 

- In Dibër district, following the seventh phase of this operational plan, in the city of Peshkopia, the Police has dismantled and seized 5 cameras. In the investigation for unjust interference in private life, 3 citizens. So far, in this district, a total of 6 cameras have been dismantled and seized and in-depth investigations have been initiated for 4 citizens.

The investigative work continues, in cooperation with the respective prosecutor's offices, for the full legal documentation of the purpose of using the cameras placed in violation of the law.
