SPAK hits two criminal drug groups, 8 people are arrested, 5 others are declared

SPAK in cooperation with the structures of the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH), the State Police and the Police Supervision Agency have hit two criminal groups involved in the criminal activity of cultivating narcotics with the aim of then putting them on the market, starting from year 2020 and beyond.

"Cultivation of narcotic plants was carried out in the Cudhi Administrative Unit of the Krujë Municipality, the villages of Noj, Shkrëtë, Rranxë, Bruz Mal, Bruz Zall, on the surface of forest lands mainly owned by the "state", bordering areas with each other.

For the care and storage of narcotic plants, the suspected persons have hired workers and set up irrigation systems, then the narcotic substance has been collected and processed in special places with the aim of putting it on the market. Criminal groups have been helped and favored by some employees of the police structures, as well as those of the local administration of Kruje.
During the investigation, the areas cultivated with narcotic plants were identified and then checked, where thousands of narcotic plants planted in different plots and in different quantities were found and destroyed. In connection with this, samples of these plants were seized and they were expertly examined. From this examination, it was found that the seized plants are of the cannabis sattiva type.

Likewise, during the control exercised in only one of the places where narcotics are collected, the amount of 145.5 kg of cannabis sattiva, specially packaged and ready for sale, was seized, among other things, "said in the announcement of SPAK .

As part of the anti-cannabis police mega-operation coded "Radio-linkage", 8 people have been arrested and 5 others have been declared wanted.

More specifically, the security measures "Arrest in prison" were executed for 8 citizens, specifically:

-L. (L.) A., 33 years old, for the criminal offenses "Cultivation of narcotic plants" and "Production and sale of narcotics", committed in the form of a structured criminal group;
- SV, 73 years old, resident of Krujë, for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants", committed in the form of a structured criminal group;
-S. Sh., 48 years old, resident of Kamze, for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants", committed in the form of a structured criminal group;
-VT, 55 years old, resident of Klos, for the criminal offenses "Cultivation of narcotic plants" and "Production and sale of narcotics", committed in the form of a structured criminal group;
-AP, 52 years old, resident in Krujë, for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants", committed in the form of a structured criminal group;
- Xh. Mr., 38 years old, resident of Krujë, for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants", committed in the form of a structured criminal group;
- Sh. I., 50 years old, resident of Fushë Krujë, for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants", committed in the form of a structured criminal group;
-AP, 67 years old, resident of Krujë, for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty".

5 citizens have also been declared wanted:

-B. S. (X.), 36 vjeç, banues në Krujë, për veprat penale “Kultivimi i bimëve narkotike” dhe “Prodhimi dhe shitja e narkotikëve”, kryer në formën e grupit të strukturuar kriminal, si dhe për veprën penale “Mbajtja pa leje dhe prodhimi i armëve, armëve shpërthyese dhe i municionit”;
-A. D., 33 vjeç, banues në fshatin Arrameras, për veprën penale “Kultivimi i bimëve narkotike”, kryer në formën e grupit të strukturuar kriminal;
-E. X., 20 vjeç, banues në Krujë, për veprën penale “Kultivimi i bimëve narkotike”, kryer në formën e grupit të strukturuar kriminal;
-A. A., 42 vjeç, banues në Krujë, për veprën penale “Kultivimi i bimëve narkotike”, kryer në formën e grupit të strukturuar kriminal;
-H. M., 68 vjeç, banues në Krujë, për veprën penale “Shpërdorimi i detyrës”.

Investigations continue regarding the execution of security measures for the accomplices of the arrested persons, as well as the collection and securing of evidence for other persons who are involved in this criminal activity.
