Fredi Beleri and Pandeli Kokaveshi appeal the decision of the First Instance of the Special Court, which left them in prison on the charge of active corruption in the election carried out in collaboration.

Beleri requests the dismissal of the case, claiming that there is no evidence to include him in the criminal offense for which he is accused.

Meanwhile, Kokaveshi asks the Special Appeal for a milder measure than "prison arrest", with the claim that his health situation endangers his life in isolation. It is expected that the Court of Appeal will draw lots to determine the name of the judge who will hear the case. Beleri is currently in prison 313 of Tirana, while Kokaveshi is in "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center.
