The State Matura 2023 will hold the first foreign language exam today. Over 30,000 graduates will undergo this test, which will start at 10:00 a.m. and will last 2 hours and 30 minutes.
The exam will take place in school corridors or in gymnasiums and all testing will be monitored by cameras to eliminate copying or the use of phones during the test. More than 7,800 teachers have been engaged to administer the exams.
All levels of difficulty are included in the exam and for the first time this year there will be a special test for students with different abilities.
Another innovation of the matura will be the removal of the answer sheets of the exams, a demand of the graduates and teachers as it caused confusion for the graduates and confusion in the corrections.
