The "Black Eagle" trial in Belgium revealed that the Albanian mafia had bribed a South American consul.

The Albanian criminal organization, dismantled during the "Black Eagle" operation, received its supplies directly from South America.

After the drug was repackaged with the help of Colombian "chemists" in Belgium, it was exported to various European countries.

Forty of its members are on trial since April 8 in Brussels, the profits reaped by the leaders were staggering, traces of silver circles were found.

Money was also seized. But as federal prosecutor Julie Coduys explained in her indictment, "we found just a snowflake on the iceberg."

For the cocaine to cross the ocean without incident, the organization did not lack imagination.

There was the "economy class", the drug container hidden in sacks that the divers, equipped with waterproof suits and bags, found at night.

Cocaine can also be mixed with other products, such as charcoal or fruit pulp.

There was "business class", with the use of private jets, especially from Suriname.

Ten thousand euros for the consul

Thus, the investigators were able to determine, based on the data collected thanks to the dismantling of the Sky ECC cryptophone network, that the cocaine was traveling by diplomatic bag from Paraguay.

According to the plans, this "diplomatic route" should be possible every 15 days. The maximum quantity for transport was 100 kg of cocaine per trip, however, it was preferable not to reach this ceiling.

In South America, cocaine was traded at 4,500 euros per kilogram. Once in Brussels, it can be resold for between 25,000 and 30,000 euros, a profit of between 500% and 600%.

Thus, the information gathered made it possible to determine that when the traffickers received the goods, it was necessary to pay the South American consul, who was corrupt, a sum of 10,000 euros.

For the leaders of the criminal organization, this road seemed very promising, because, if it had not been destroyed, it could have been used for three years, that is, until the next elections in the country of the consul.

Twenty years are required for leaders

At the head of the criminal organization, the federal prosecutor sees two leaders, Alfredo H. and Indrit K., against whom she demanded 20 years in prison on Thursday.

The irons did not stop Indri K. From his cell, equipped with a Sky ECC cryptophone he had managed to obtain, he continued to manage his affairs.

Indrit K. giving his instructions when it came to managing the disappearance of three loaves of one kilogram of cocaine.
