Hundreds of citizens have responded to the call to protest in front of the Ministry of Health, after the discovery of the scandal at the Oncology Department where doctors bargained with cancer patients by sending them to private clinics.

Citizens have requested that SPAK start investigations, starting from this scandal, for all departments of QSU.

"This is a big scandal. The doctors say without shame, let's give half the medicine to that citizen. It's such a shame. The prosecution has started an investigation and it is good news. But the charges are light. You have killed people and how can you be investigated for abuse of office.

SPAK should investigate every ward in QSUT, because every ward has such groups that take citizens to their clinics to extort them. "Unfortunately in Albania, the sick remain those who sell their house, land, cow, go into credit, to recover because they have no economic opportunities," said journalist Osman Stafa, who was present at the protest.
