Firearms and ammunition are seized in Tirana, father and son in handcuffs
They were caught with weapons and ammunition at home, father and son are arrested

Father and son were arrested by the Tirana police as part of the operation coded "Home", after firearms, ammunition and a cutting tool were seized.

According to the police, two persons aged 21 and 42 from Vaqarri were found illegal items during the search of the apartment.

"Services of Police Station No. 6 following the implementation of certain measures in the "Rule of Law" operational plan, based on the information provided for a case of illegal possession of weapons, they organized and finalized the coded police operation "Home". As a result of this operation, citizens KH, 21 years old, and IH, 42 years old, (father and son), both residents of Vaqarr, were arrested. KH citizens, during the physical check, the Police services, found a knife cutting tool, and following the actions, during the search of his father's apartment, they found and seized as material evidence, a firearm and a quantity of military ammunition" , says the capital's police.

Meanwhile, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions.
