A public transport bus caught fire this evening on the " Fier-Patos " road axis near the village of Portez .

The bus is suspected to have suffered a technical fault while in motion.

It was the driver who saw the smoke and sped up to get the passengers out of the vehicle , who fortunately were not injured .

Police notification :​

At around 19:15, on the "Fier-Patos" road axis, it is suspected that due to a technical defect, a bus with driver I. Xh . Thanks to the immediate response of the police and fire brigade, it was possible to put out the fire.

As a result of the fire, only material damage was caused. The investigative group continues its work on documenting the cause of the fire with legal evidence .
