Saranda is in ruins, the fault in the substation leaves the tourist town without
Promenade of Saranda without electricity

Saranda is plunged into darkness this evening, after a fault in the city's substation.

Although OSHEE announced today that the electricity was restored, the views from the city promenade show a different reality.

Almost the entire city is submerged, while only the few businesses with generators have light. However, as you can hardly see in the video below, the tourists were not absent from the dinner tour, despite the darkness.

The fire in the electrical equipment of the substation had caused considerable damage. It is still unclear when the situation will stabilize.
